Kevlar Assault Boat
The Kevlar Assault Boat is a standard watercraft, designed to provide an easily transportable and manhandled boat capable of carrying 10 fully equipped soldiers plus a crew of two. It may be propelled by paddling or by an outboard motor. Two boats may be coupled stern to stern and propelled by a bow mounted outboard motor.

Operational Role
The Assault Boats provide either a wet gap crossing or patrol capability. It further provides a floating base that can be used in combinations for improvised floating rafts and bridges. When used collectively, the boats can be applied to their more conventional employment of assault river crossing, carrying up to a company group at a time.
