Return to top I think I'm reasonably fit - am I fit enough to join?
Before you undertake AARC, it's essential that you are reasonably fit and free of injuries and medical problems. Prior to joining, concentrate on cardiovascular work such as running and circuit training; to give yourself a head start, you should aim to achieve the Army's minimum standard of fitness before you start AARC Training. If you have any questions about your fitness, your local Army Careers Officer will be able to help.
