The Army Reserve is a part time job unlike any other. You work closely as a tight-knit team -testing your skill and experience in all sorts of environments. Your objective may be to locate an injured soldier in rugged terrain. Your team has secured a perimeter and now it’s your job to abseil down to take a closer look. This is a job where leadership and teamwork is put to the test. You’ll be required for a minimum of 20 days per year, but in all likelihood you’ll be hankering for more.

If it’s outdoor adventure you’re looking for, a part time role with the Army Reserve could be for you. Survival training ranges from field-craft to mountaineering to building a snow cave. You get trained to the highest military standards, to see without being seen, and to handle anything the terrain throws at you. And you get paid for it. The minimum number of days’ service is 20 days per year, but you’ll be trained to level that you could deploy overseas if you wanted.
