Operation Warpaint

To raise awareness of the 90th anniversary of Passchendaele in Belgium, the New Zealand Defence Force has launched a competition called Operation Warpaint, where we ask you to paint or draw a picture of what you think Passchendaele was like.

Please note this competition is open only to those aged between 8 and 13 years.

Prizes

1st Prize is a Defence experience for four – you, two friends and a parent. The prize will include a flight in an Air Force helicopter and a ride in a Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV). You will also win $250 worth of art supplies for your school.

2nd Prize is a day out on a Navy ship for you, two friends and a parent; plus $50 worth of art supplies.

3rd Prize is a ride to school in a Light Armoured Vehicle(LAV) and $50 worth of art supplies.

Runners up - 10 runners up will receive prize packs.
