Dear All
My running shoes sure have worn out quickly here in Dili. Here's why .... In just 3 months I have ruined them due to all the running I'm doing. Which is probably a good thing.
However they have been subject to unexpected wear and tear, which has included:
• discouraging chickens and pigs from leaping across my path
• using them as flippers to traverse the Comoro river
• skirting around rock strewn mountain sides
• tip-toeing through pieces of broken bottles and trash
• running up muddy streams in tropical downpours,
• leaping over puddles and potholes
• kicking dogs that bite at my heels
• prancing across muddy paths
• sliding down loose rock covered slopes
• squashing empty cans of drink ;
• ...and running.
Life was so much simpler on the Trentham Gym Treadmill!! So, CO, any chance of another pair?
