The New Zealand Defence Communications Group produces a number of publications which cater for the public and NZDF personnel.

They include New Zealand Defence Update, which is primarily for an external audience. The unit also produces Army News, Navy Today, and Air Force News. The three Service publications are  for mainly Service personnel but are available to the public.

Our publications provide information about defence policies and people. They look at the activities of our forces overseas, and provide up-to-date information about where our personnel are deployed, why they are there and what they are doing.

They also look at what is happening in defence at home, and what goes on in the background to ensure defence force personnel are constantly ready to do their job, whether it be combat operations, peace-keeping/making, nation building and humanitarian assistance, training with other nations, or promoting stability and security throughout the Pacific.
