The inaugural issue of the ‘Your Army - In Review 2006/2007’ was released on Friday 23 November 2007. The publication is intended to fill a communication gap that has existed in relation to conveying Army’s yearly performance to its most important asset – the officers, soldiers and civilians of the NZ Army. It has been designed to capture and communicate the key achievements, activities, projects and challenges that impacted on Army between 1 Jul 06 - 30 Jun 07. Chief of Army, MAJGEN Lou Gardiner said the NZ Army spends many hours capturing and communicating information to satisfy our external stakeholders.
“The ‘Your Army - In Review’ publication focuses on informing our own personnel about Army’s achievements. It contains balanced and honest comment about how the NZ Army performed, outlines future challenges and opportunities, and profiles a few of our personnel who have an interesting story to tell. I am very pleased with this inaugural issue and I encourage everyone to read it,” he says.
