HRH Princess Anne
On 17 November 2008, HRH Princess Anne visited Burnham Military Camp to meet with servicemen and women of the Royal New Zealand Signal Corps and the Royal New Zealand Nursing Corps.
HRH Princess Anne, in her role as Colonel-in-Chief for the two Corps, she was welcomed into the camp with a Powhiri and a guard of honour, and spent a great deal of time talking with those who had come out to see her.
Children from Burnham Primary School also got the chance to meet with the Princess, and two children - Breanna Shaw and Ayden Fleck - presented her with posies of flowers.
