Auckland Marathon

The Auckland Marathon is the largest marathon in NZ attracting over 10,000 competitors. On 28 October 2007, over twenty NZ Army competitors from units around the country descended on Auckland to represent the NZ Army in the marathon, half marathon and quarter marathon. There was also a large NZ Army Recruiting presence at this event, with the aim of showcasing the NZ Army as a viable career option to both competitors and supporters alike.
