Afghanistan

New Zealand Defence Force personnel have promoted peace and security in the Bamyan and Bagram areas of Afghanistan since 2003, under the auspices of the NZ Provincial Reconstruction Team (NZPRT).

The eleventh rotation, featured on this page, is commanded by Colonel Brendon Fraher. This rotation departed New Zealand in October 2007 and is expected to remain in Afghanistan for 6 months.
