Anzac Day

25 April commemorates the first day of the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) involvement at the Allied campaign in Gallipoli in 1915.  Almost a third of New Zealanders who took part in this campaign lost their lives, and each year the landings at Gallipoli are remembered at Services in New Zealand and overseas.

The images in this gallery show NZDF personnel commemorating Anzac Day both in New Zealand and overseas.

Other photographs in this section show NZDF personnel collecting money for the RSA on Poppy Day.
