Poster Competition

RNZAMC Corps colours Header.

As part of the Centennial Celebrations over the period 08- 12 July 2008, a poster competition has been organised to enable personnel to demonstrate their creative side while highlighting and promoting aspects of the RNZAMC.

Poster displays play a traditional role at military medical conferences, often being used to show research findings or to enhance a topic that is being presented at the conference.  The poster can also highlight a capability or a significant medical occasion.

Thus there is plenty of scope for the keen enthusiast to compile a poster.  Posters can be constructed in any of the following methods/format:

  • Analogue (hand-drawn, collage, painted etc)
  • Computer generated (print, graphics, digital imagery etc)

Size: A1 (equates to 4 x A3 size)

Author:  annotated on reverse side of poster

A significant 'sponsor' prize has been allocated for the most outstanding effort and the winner will be selected by a panel of judges (from Joint Services Health School, Air force and Navy Staff).   The winner will be announced at the Centennial Ball on Saturday 12 July 2008.

Resources:  Those wishing to gain access to RNZAMC museum for resources information or digital images can do so by contacting TIMOTHY.CROWE@nzdf.mil.nz

Poster(s) are to be presented at the Centennial Celebrations on 8 July 2008 to Warrant Officer Tim Crowe or Nicola Peretini.  If you are unable to attend the centennial event contact nicola.peretini@nzdf.mil.nz to arrange handing over of the poster (this needs to be done no later than 8 - 10 July 2008).  Posters will not be accepted after 10 July 2008.
