The British Army Rugby Union will undertake a tour of Australia and New Zealand during the period 13 - 26 May 2007 to commemorate their 100th birthday. While they are here they will play two matches:
22 May 2007
The NZ Army Academy XV will play a British Army XV at Davis Field, Trentham Camp at 1400 hours. This match was requested by the British Army Rugby Union so as to give all their players a match.
25 May 07
The NZ Army Senior Rugby team will play the British Army Senior Rugby team under lights at the FMH Stadium, Palmerston North at 1800 hrs.
This match will be the fourth time the NZ Army and the British Army teams will have played each other in the last 12 years, with the NZ Army yet to register a win.
Entry to the match is a gold coin donation.
Money raised will go to charity.
